I am a 80 years young mother of 3 sons, and GmaNana to 8 amazing grandkids! Pre-Covid I was more adventurous, loading my kayak on my Outback to paddle many local rivers and lakes. Other interests are Line Dancing, Classical music concerts, spending time with my grandkids as much as possible, reading, maintaining my home, cooking, and meet ups with good friends. Traveling again has been a slow process, but exciting. I live in a gated community with many amenities: lovely lake, challenging golf course, several beach parks with bbq, picnic tables, restrooms. Some have playgrounds and basketball/pickleball courts. While my home is not on the lake, I enjoy a beautiful lake view across the street. Our Clubhouse has a large dining room, beautiful outdoor patio dining with a view of the golf course, and a popular bar. We also have a Community Center across the lake with pool, & several fitness/yoga classes.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
2745 square foot home on a hill overlooking Lake Wildwood. Living, laundry rooms are on the main level, along with the Kitchen. half bath and Master Bedroom ensuite.Sliding glass door opens to a spacious deck with all weather outdoor wicker furniture, round glass top dining table/4 chairs, and a BBQ. The 2-car garage is at the top of the driveway. There are 4 steps to the front entrance landing with a handrail. The lower level has a den, full bath with tub/shower combo & 3 bedrooms: a queen bed and dresser; a bunkbed with twin on top and double below with a large dresser and closet; one small bedroom with twin trundle beds & no closet. Sliding glass doors in den and bunkbed room open to the lower deck with bistro table, white wicker settee, chair and ottoman with a filtered lake view.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Our clubhouse often has concerts, karaoke, plays on the calendar. Historical towns of Nevada City and Grass Valley are 15-20 minutes away. We live in the Gold Rush Foothills with museums close by. Access to the Yuba River is 30 minutes, and our famed newly restored Covered Bridge Museum with hiking trails in Bridgeport is 10 minutes. Beautiful Truckee and Lake Tahoe are 70-90 minutes via Hwy 20 to I-80. Donner Lake ( beaches & water sport rentals ) and Museum are located in Truckee. The historical town and railroad are a must see. The Nevada State side of north Lake Tahoe has casinos, many restaurants, Watersport rentals. Auburn CA, another historical community it 40 minutes; Sacramento- 65 min; San Francisco-2 hrs. 30 min. There are many beautiful southern & northern coastal beaches/communities within 3-5 hours.

It is important to return to a clean and tidy home. Please leave it as you found it. If there is a problem, you will have the number of a handyman and a couple of neighbors for support. There is absolutely no smoking or drugs allowed on the property due to allergies. There is a 10 pm quiet time in consideration of our neighbors. Just means no loud music after 10pm.Our community has a 25 mph speed limit with is monitored by security. Since our home is on a slope, there is no lawn for children to play. If you are bringing children, they would need to be closely supervised while outside, and on the decks.
