Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our home is in the lovely beach town of Kailua on the island of Oahu. It sits on a quiet beach lane just 4 houses from world famous Kailua beach. Walk down a private lane through a gate and you are there! No streets to cross. No coral in the water.....a white sand beach. The house has a pool and hot tub and is surrounded by lava rock walls. Multi generational families love this spot. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, beach and sand toys all provided.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
There are inly 6 houses on our beach lane. We are less than a mile from the town center. The town of Kailua has local shops and restaurants. You can find what you need. You can easily walk to town or along the beach to the Kalapawai or "Green Market" for coffee and "a little something" in the morning. Located on the east side of Oahu. A 20 minute car ride takes you to Honolulu and Waikiki and all that a cultured large city has to offer.

Beautiful Lanikai beach is close by. Buzz's original Steak House for lunch and dinner. It's possible to rent any type of water/beach equipment locally. Live music in cafes in town. Hike to waterfalls, play golf, snorkel at Kailua Beach Park and see some turtles.
