This home is in an excellent location to visit York, (20 mins walk) a beautiful city. The house is tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable and communication with the host was pleasant and amenable. We enjoyed local cycles and walks and visited National Trust buildings. The restaurant recommendations were also helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others.

We very much enjoyed strolling around York, and York Minster. We also enjoyed visits to Castle Howard and exploring the Yorkshire countryside, lovely walks and villages. Katherine is a kind host and did all she could to make us feel comfortable and welcome.
