We are a retired couple with one grown-up daughter. Until their retirement Tim was a High School Headteacher and Anne a social worker. Anne continues to have a passion for antiques and Tim for photography and Norwich City Football Club. We love the outdoors and travelling and are thoroughly enjoying our retirement seeing the world pre and post COVID!

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We live in detached house with a garden in a very quiet (private) road some 2 miles from Norwich city centre. Norwich is a picturesque City a hundred miles north-east of London and is the regional capital of the County of Norfolk and situated on the edge of the Broads National Park.
Norwich is the most complete medieval city in the UK with its famous Norman castle and cathedral. It has a flourishing arts, music and cultural scene, superb independent as well as High Street shopping, lively restaurants, bars and nightlife and a rich cultural heritage that is a delight to explore. There are good road links to both London and Cambridge which can also be reached in one and a half hours by train.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
The house is located in the heart of Thorpe Saint Andrew, two miles east of the cathedral city centre of Norwich. It is a quiet, safe and friendly neighbourhood. You are within easy reach of a fantastic selection of amenities including shops by the river, supermarket and a good selection of pubs and restaurants. There are excellent public transport links in and out of the city centre with a bus stop located nearby.
