Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Central and art nouveau 135m2 flat, placed in the heart of Eixample. Spacious, luminous and quiet lounge/dining room. There are three double bedrooms, one of which is a suite and has a dressing room. Two bathrooms and a roomy and well equipped kitchen. Very well communicated: next to Rocafort Station (Line 1), 15 minutes walk away from the city center (Plaça de Catalunya-Ramblas) and 5 minutes walk away from Plaça d'Espanya. Very convenient for airport and local and long distance train station. Next to Montjuic park: Olympian Stadium, National Museum of Catalunya, Fundació Joan Miró, Grec and Lliure theatres, Botanical Gardens, panoramic sights, etc. From Barcelona, you can easily go for one day trip to Tarragona (Humanity Heritage), Girona, Figueres (Dalí Museum), Sitges, Montserrat, beaches, etc.

Nuestro barrio (Sant Antoni-Esquerra de l'Eixample) es un barrio situado cerca del centro de la ciudad, con una vida intensa. Tiene una importante actividad comercial, con tiendas especializadas y comercios de proximidad. Además cuenta con un centro neurálgico indiscutible y que constituye una fantástica atracción turística, que es el mercado de Sant Antoni. Actualmente, el barrio está impregnado de las últimas tendencias culturales y de ocio de la ciudad y constituye uno de los barrios de referencia y en auge de Barcelona. Está lleno de bodegas, restaurantes así como locales de tapas. Está perfectamente comunicado y resulta especialmente seguro.

Our Preferences

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules

We are Homelink members since 2007. We have accomplished 5 previous and successful homelink exchanges (Rome, New York, Loire Valley, Birmingham and San Francisco). We are now looking for a 10-15 days exchange in Scotland, France or NYC for late July or August 2022. The house we are offering is our main residence and that's why we would love to find it tidy and clean when we come back. We indeed accept children, as we travel with a 10 years old girl. Although we ask for well behaved and respectful children with our house and neighbors.
