Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Summer 2024 arranged!
For 2025 we wanted to exchange in UK, we already have some offers.
We can change non similteaous.
Autumn holiday 2024 end of oktober a week. we would love to exchange in Denmark, Duitsland, Belgium or France
Our holidaylink house is an old renovated farmhouse with superb views from all windows.
The house where we live in ,is behind the farmhouse, but you will have absolute privacy as the garden is enclosed and large 10.000m2.
Our lovely cosy house suitable for 5 persons . It is the middle of the meadows, but nearby shops and beautifull old cities and villages.
It has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen size bed, and one size bed. A small bedroom downstairs with a queen size bed. We have a Finnish sauna outdoor in the garden, a hottub with amazing views ( 100m from the house) both work on wood. Hottub needs 3 hours to warm up, sauna 1 hour. A new bathroom and a fully equiped self made kitchen of concrete, with large frigde and dishwasher.
The house is surrounded with beautifull panorama views.
We have a large terras and parking for 2 cars.
For larger family’s, we have an extra apartment with a doublebed, and extra bathroom ( the last pictures on our site)
You can walk in our beautifull garden of 10.000m2 with fruittrees, vegetable garden and a large pound.
We live in the north of the Netherlands, between the beautifull cities Leeuwarden, Groningen. Amsterdam is a 1,5 drive.
20 minutes you reach the heritage Unesco wadcoast with the ydillic national park Lauwersmeer, with great acces to our idyllic islands. Also a daytrip to Germany is easy accessible .
From our house it,s 5 minutes to the lovely woods of Veenklooster and the herbgarden de Kruidhof, with playgarden for kids.
In the area there are Great Lakes nearby to swim, canoe or to fish. Also National park Lauwersmeer is a must, and National park Alde feannen is amazing. Giethoorn is reachable within 1.5 hour.
The surrounding is perfect for hiking, cycling, canoen, sightseeing. You might love this natural area because of the beautifull nature
historic cities and the national parcs.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
From our house it,s 5 min. from supermarkets, China restaurant, italian restaurant and pubs
There is a great forest 5 minutes in Veenklooster, and a beautifull one of the most greatest herbgardens of europ the Kruidhof.
Visit 20 min from our house the heritage Unesco wadcoast, take the boat to the most ydillic islands of the world. Such as Schiermonnikoog or Ameland.
The area is great for cycling. We have lots of cycle routes here.
We live between 2 national parcs:
Lauwersmeer and âlde Feanen, with great water for rent a boat or kajak.
20 min south you’ll Fins the beautifull moors and woods in Bakkeveen en Appelscha.
Germany is also reachable for a day stopping in Leer, 1.5 hours drive.
Amsterdam can be reachable within 1.5 hour.
You must see Dokkum, and old cosy city, famous of the 11 city tour.
Groningen and Leeuwarden are a half an hour drive and well worth to visit.
