Nijverdal is a small town in Twente, a touristic area in the east part of the Netherlands, close to the German border (30 min. by car).
650 m from our home are a good supermarket, a bakery, snackbar and other shops. More shops in the center of Nijverdal.
There are many restaurants in Hellendoorn and Nijverdal.

You can visit different cultural activities: Memory Museum in Nijverdal, Scupture Garden Marienheem, Fundatie Museum in Castle Nijenhuis, Heino & in Zwolle, NP De Hoge Veluwe with Kröller Müller Museum, Paleis het Loo in Apeldoorn and Rijksmuseum Enschede.

Very special is the scenery of the National Park "De Sallandse Heuvelrug" (10 min. by car), where you can hike and bike for hours. There is a network of cycling junctions in our region Twente, Salland and the rest of the country. We have 2 electric bikes to use for comfort biking. You find forest and moorlands, which will be in a magnificent purple bloom in the months of August and the first week of September and where you can enjoy beautiful views. In our home we have lots of hike-, bike- and car-routes for a large area around our home.
