Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Our terraced house is in a very friendly neighbourhood. You only need a 10 min walk to get to picturesque medieval downtown with cinema, lovely restaurants, bars, theatre, shops and the open air bath at the river. Supermarket, bakery and drugstore are just around the corner.
Furthermore you are at the train station in a 5 min walk.

Within 60 km there are big cities (Munich, Augsburg, Füssen), the Alpes with e.g. castle "Neuschwanstein" and a lake for sailing and wind-surfing (Ammersee).

In our neighbourhood live seniors as well as families with teens and kids. We live in a dead end road, but very close to the city centre. Still you can have a walk directly from our house into the nature around: across fields, by the river or to a close pond.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home

The area is famous for excellent touristic holidays. Five lakes are around for swimming, surfing, sailing, diving, going by steamboat or to ride a bicycle.

Munich with it´s famous touristic attractions, beer-gardens, shopping malls, cultural facilities like theatres, art galleries and museums, fabulous restaurants and night-life is 1 hour by car or by train.

The Alpes you reach by car in 1 hour (e.g. Zugspitze - highest German mountain). Great possibilities for hiking, climbing, paragliding, skiing, ice-scating.
The castles "Neuschwanstein" or "Linderhof" of King Ludwig are nearby.
Salzburg, Innsbruck, Augsburg or Nuremberg are all reachable in 1-2 hours by car for a beautiful daytrip.
Famous monastery "Andechs" with it´s own brewed beer (30 min. by car) or monastery "Benediktbeuren" (60 min. by car) are within reach.
You need 45 min by car to the world cultural heritage "Wieskirche"
Legoland is 1 hour by car.

Of course, it is important for us, that you handle our home and our items with care, we will do the same. You are welcome to use garden furniture, bicycles and children's toys. Garden maintenance is only needed in particularly hot summers.
