Description of the home we are offering for exchange
My home is very near to the forest (5 minutes by foot) and to the centre of the town (15 minutes).
My 2-room apartment with its 40sqm is very bright and confortable, with a favourable layout. It is situated on the third floor reachable with a lift or with the stairs.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Freiburg is a lively city with a lot of cultural opportunities. In the centre, near to the cathedrale you will find a daily market which is more important and very attractive on Saturdays.
There are also a lot of bars and restaurants, as well as shopping possibilities.
Near to Freiburg there is a old vulcany region called Kaiserstuhl famous for its white wines. It is also a beautifull place for walking and discovering the villages.
With the train it will take you 1/2 hour to go to the Black Forest (Schluchsee, Titisee).
You can take a lot of endless hiking tours there and get to know the wonderful middle mountain range.
By train you may also easily reach Basel, Colmar or Strasbourg.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
From the apartment you may easily reach supermarkets, bars, restaurants. My home is also near to the tramway (2-3 minutes by foot), to the railway station (10-15 minutes by foot).
The best way to discover the center of the town is to take a walk (15 minutes). On the other side, my home is situated vety near to the forest (5 minutes by foot).
