We are a family of six - Beate & Christian with our three boys and one girl - living in rural Bavaria. As secondary teachers we both work at a school in a town nearby.
Our first home exchange took place about ten years ago with our two oldest boys. After a break of several years and a growing family, we would like to resume this kind of experience.

Our home is located close to one of Germany's most famous touristic areas - the “Allgäu”. Just an one-hour drive from the Bavarian Alps, where all kinds of outdoor activities are offered - in summer as well as in winter.
Situated in a small town, our house is offering a quiet and relaxing home for anybody seeking for a rural Bavarian atmosphere.
Nevertheless you can reach large cities like Munich or Stuttgart by car easily. The “Autobahn” is just ten minutes away.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Situated in a small town, our house is offering a quiet and relaxing home for anybody seeking for a rural Bavarian atmosphere. However you need to travel by car as public transport would be time consuming. Supermarkets, bakeries and pharmacies are just a 5-minute drive from our place by car.
Our previous exchange-families from Berlin (Germany), Hamburg (Germany), Gent (Belgium) and Blankenberge (Belgium) really enjoyed this contrast to their city life.
