A wonderful apartment, 5th floor, with floor to ceiling windows and sunblinds on every window. All rooms a featured with wooden floor and underfloor heating. The apartment in general is tastefully decorated with some art peaces, design furnitures etc..
The apartment was renovated in 2016.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Düsseldorf has 600.000 inhabitants and is part of the Metropole Area RHEIN RUHR (10 Mill inhabitants) and the Metropole Area RHEINLAND with 9 Mill. inhabitants. The city is situated in the central European economical area.
If you like shopping the KÖNIGSALLEE (kings avenue) is one of the most luxury avenues in Europe. A lot of Museums and Restaurants are nearby. The city is as well the major place for art trade. Düsseldorf has one of the biggest Japanese communities in Europe. The airport (distance 9 km) is a hub for international connections.
Cologne is 35 km away (30 minutes by train), Amsterdam 230 km (3 hours by train), Brussels (2,5 hours by train).
The interesting hiking area NATIONAL PARK EIFEL is 50 km away, reachable in 1 hour by car.
To understand the history of North Rhein Westfalia I recommend to visit the area Ruhrgebiet which is 50 km away. If you are interested in the industrial heritage trail see: www.ruhr-tourismus.de.
You can book different trips (maybe to the Loreley) by ship, along a lot of castles, up ore down the Rhine.
