Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our flat has 120 square meters, it has 2 bedrooms (one with a double size bed and one children's room with a bunk bed for kids), 2 bathrooms with showers (no bath tub!) and a large living room with a kitchen. It also has a balcony, facing north, i.e. sunny only from late April until October in the evenings.
Please be aware that cirrently (in 2023) there is a bulding site vis-a-vis our flat. Accordingly, it can be noisy!

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
The flat is situated in a historic dwellig with 12 neighbours. It is a quiet house and neighbourhood with good grocerie / shopping oppotunities (10 minutes walking distance) and two beautiful parks within walking distance (Bürgerpark 10 and Schlosspark 15 minutes). Public transport is close (tram 5 minutes, train 10 minutes, underground/subway 10 minutes walking distance). On Florastraße you will find cafés, small shops and restaurants.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
You find cafés, small shops and restaurants on near by Florastraße. And lots of cafés, shops and restaurants in Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte, both swiftly accessible with public transport. We have two parks within walking distance (Bürgerpark 10 and Schlosspark 15 minutes). All Berlin attractions (Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island, Eastside Gallery) are easy to reach with public transport, which is very close to our home (tram 5 minutes walking distance, train and underground/subway 10 minutes walking distance). Thanks to all night public transport (train and bus), you can go out or go clubbing late.

You may use all of our devices (CD / DVD player, beamer to watch films/TV, washing machine, vacuum cleaner robot etc.). You may smoke on the balcony, but, please, not in the flat. Please water the plants on the balcony now and then. Just feel at home!
