It is a quiet terraced house, with 3 bedrooms upstairs (1 double bed, 1 sofa bed with a good mattress :), and 1 single mattress that can be added in the 3rd bedroom if necessary), and a bathroom with WC.

You can park in the courtyard, in front of the house, without problem.

The house is located in a small medieval town in Haute-Savoie: La Roche sur Foron.
All shops are nearby. We are barely 10 minutes walk from the city center.
The castle park above the town center offers a beautiful view of the mountain range. And the Bénite de Fontaine, very close to the house, is a very peaceful sanctuary in the middle of the forest and along the river, with spring water.

Plateau des Glières (historic site of the Resistance) is 40 minutes away.
La Roche sur Foron is also located between the beautiful city of Annecy (30 min) and Evian les Bains (1 hour), and between Annecy and Chamonix (1 hour).
We are also 30 minutes from the first beach on the shores of Lac Léman (Tougues), and there are plenty of others along the way with villages like Yvoire, Nernier not to be missed or towns like Thonon les Bains, Evian les Bains.
We are also close to ski station for skiing, hiking (all levels)(Grand-Bornand, La Clusaz, Avoriaz, Cenise, Combloux, Megève, Saint Gervais les Bains, Morzine, Samoens.. .).

The house is there fore very well located to discover beautiful places here, between lakes and mountains, or even Switzerland if a visit to Geneva for example tempts you.

There are also many activities and entertainment offered in the region, for all ages.
