The village of Shkorpilovtsi is located 35 km south of Varna, the most beautiful city on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria with a vibrant cultural life. In close proximity to the resort is the famous Kamchiya nature reserve, which is reachable even by walking some 2,5 hous along the beach. There you can enjoy a boat trip on the river and see rare plants and animal species.
About 10 km south of Shkorpilovtsi is the town of Bjala with a very well-preserved ancient fortress overlooking the Sea. This is a beautiful, quiet place, quite contrary to the very popular Nessebar, which is about an hour away. Nessebar is a tiny, picturesque peninsula with over 40 churches dating back to the 5th century. It has lots of historical and even more commecial sites during the summer season.
For water sport activities, you can visit the Aquapark near Nessebar, or remain in Shkorpilovtsi and enjoy the many activities offered on site at an affordable price (boat rides, diving, kitesurfing, jetskiing, etc.)
